Help & FAQ
The LEGO® Discovery Center Hamburg team is incredibly excited to welcome guests to the new attraction which will open later this year. We know how much everyone is looking forward to the grand opening and we are fully focused on delivering a great and memorable experience for our guests.
In the meantime, we will continue to work with our partners behind the scenes to prepare for the grand opening - brick by brick! We will keep you up to date and can't wait to welcome you soon!
LEGO Discovery Centre is not a theme park but an indoor attraction designed especially for chidlren between the ages of 2 and 10. It wishes to provide a safe and fun environment for families with younger children to have a great time together. Many of the facilities are therefore not designed or suitable for older children or adults.
To ensure a consistently child-friendly play environment, we do not allow entrance to groups of adults, adult couples or single adults, regardless of ethnic background, gender or physical impairments or sexual orientation, who are not accompanied by at least one child.
This policy was created in consultation with our visitors and we believe that we have taken an appropriate and practical position that matches the nature of the attraction and our visitor profile.
Having said that, we are well aware of the popularity of the LEGO® brand among all age groups. That is one of the reasons that we regularly organize “adults only” events in which we open certain areas of the center, such as the MINI WORLD, to adults and offer additional activities such as presentations or lessons to allow adults to free their inner child.
No, children must be supervised by a responsible adult over 18 years of age.
Yes, that is allowed. There must be at least one child under 18 years in the party.
The whole attraction is air conditioned. Please note that kids must wear socks to get entrance to the soft play area and climbing wall.
No, but we have a few small lockers available in the attraction.
Please note that the number of lockers available is limited. We advise you to leave your coats in your car if this option is possible for you.
On average, a visit to the LEGO Discovery Centre takes around 2 hours.
Please note : We want everyone to have the best time! In order to provide you the best possible experience, we are limiting the number of guests and the time spent in the attraction. This means on peak days you will be issued with a time limited wristband giving you a minimum of 2 hours of LEGO fun.
In some of our areas, size and capacity restrictions may apply. This is mainly for our soft play area and the Imagination Express train where certain restrictions apply depending on the size of the children. For safety reasons, we ask that you follow the instructions of our Playmakers.
